Paul is a graduate of the University of Ottawa and a seasoned professional in the Financial Services Industry since 1993. He holds the designations of Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), and Registered Health Underwriter (RHU). As one of the Founding Partners of NextLevel Financial, Paul has guided the growth of the office he opened in 1994 into a national advisory practice serving clients across Canada with five advisors, five support staff, and more than 1,200 households.
In 2021, Paul passed the torch of Managing Partner to Kirk Dzaman, who continues to lead the firm’s operations and growth, while Paul and his wife Jana relocated to the Okanagan. Paul remains actively engaged in serving clients across the country, continuing to deliver the same disciplined, relationship-driven advice that has defined his career.
Paul’s expertise spans cash flow management, retirement planning, and estate planning, with a particular focus on wealth creation and retirement cash flow yield. Recognizing the critical role of tax efficiency in sustainable wealth management, he employs a disciplined Model Portfolio approach to deliver consistent, long-term results with controlled risk. His dedication to enduring client relationships is evident in his structured review process, clear communication, and the exceptional service culture he and his team have built. Nearly all new business continues to come through referrals — a testament to the trust and satisfaction of his clients.
Paul is also the author of The Inevitable Millionaire Series, which includes The Inevitable Millionaire, The Inevitable Millionaire Mindset, and Enough Already — a trilogy exploring financial independence, behavioral discipline, and the psychology of lasting wealth. Outside of his professional life, Paul enjoys traveling and playing competitive Duplicate Bridge. Married to Jana since 1996, he is the father of two sons and a delighted grandfather to Jemma and Lainey, who continue to remind him of what truly matters.
